Congregational Care Ministry
The Congregational Care Ministry provides oversight for the care of individual members at times of special needs or significant occasions, including funerals and memorial services. Working with the Pastor, the Ministry provides care to bereaved families, homebound individuals, or others in acutely painful and stressful circumstances. Care activities include the provision of meals, running of errands, or transportation assistance.
The Ministry has a special role in carrying out visitations to members and friends of the congregation, to include the celebration of the Lord’s Supper. The Ministry maintains and executes a Telephone Contact List to ensure that all FHPC members can be informed in a timely manner of deaths, serious injuries or illness, or other mishaps affecting our congregation.
